PESHAWAR, 21 November: Pakistan batsman Umar Akmal has been included in the squad for three-match Twnty20 series against England in the UAE after clearance by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
He was left out of the T20 squad over disciplinary grounds after news reports emerged that he was involved inappropriate activity which caused disrepute for the game.
“Subsequent to his being cleared by the inquiry initiated by the PCB’s security and vigilance department with regard to media reports of an incident in Hyderabad, Umar (Akmal) has been inducted in the T-20 squad against England,” said a PCB statement.
On the other hand, all-rounder Imad Wasim was been left out of the squad as he has not fully recovered from the injury.
