PESHAWAR, 28 October: Pakistani umpire Aleem Dar has announced a donation of one million rupees for the earthquake victims. This he said in a statement issued to the media on Wednesday. It stated that the donation would be spent on rehabilitation of the  devastating earthquake victims in Pakistan.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province was worst hit by Monday’s earthquake that struck Pakistan, Afghanistan and India. Over 200 hundred people were dead while more 1500 got  injured in KP in addition to  around 10000  damaged houses in the province.

Earlier on Tuesday all-rounder  Shahid Afrid  announced a Rs 5 million donation for the earthquake affected people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA and Gilgit Baltistan.

He also visited Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital to inquire about the health of earthquake victims.
