PESHAWAR, 24 October: The United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has condemned the terrorist attacks on the Muharram processions in Balochistan and Sindh.

According to the state-run radio, the UN chief expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and said the culprits behind such inhuman acts should be brought to justice. He also called upon the Pakistan government to improve security measures for minorities.

Twenty-two people were killed in Jacobabad district of Sindh on Friday and 10 were killed on Thursday in Bolan district of Balochistan in terrorist attacks on Muharram processions.
