PESHAWAR, 14 December: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak said on Sunday that a university campus will be established in every district of KP.

This he said while addressing centenary celebrations function of the Islamia College Peshawar. He said the provincial government has initiated work on construction of 50 new degree colleges in KP. He said most of these degree colleges will be for women.

Mr Khattak said work has also been commenced on a technical university, three new universities and a women university. On the occasion, the chief minister announced one-month salary bonus for the whole staff of Islamia College Peshawar. He said the provincial government will make available all resources for promotion of education.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan also addressed the function.
