MIRANSHAH, November 26: Eight suspected militants have been killed in a US drone attack in North Waziristan Agency.
Administration officials say the pilotless aircraft fired two missiles on a house in Kundsar area in Dattakhel tehsil at morning.
They say foreign militants are also among those killed in the latest attack.
North Waziristan tribal region has been a stronghold of militants since long. In June this year, the Pakistan Army launched a military offensive titled “Operation Zarb-e-Azb” against militants in the agency.
Thousands of families have been displaced as a result of the operation.
Pakistan has protested the US drone attacks in the country because authorities say attacks are a violation of the country’s sovereignty and integrity.
