LAKKI MARWAT, 16 May: Ar-Rahma Welfare Organization has set up a dispensary for poor people where they will be provided with free medical treatment.
The dispensary, located in Rahmatabad area, was inaugurated by Member of the National Assembly Col (Retd) Ameer Ali here today. Talking on the occasion, he said that people of the area had to cover a long distance to reach medical facilities however this dispensary would provide them medical facilities at their doorsteps.
Qari Muhammad Ayub, head of the ar-Rahma Welfare Organisation, said that an MBBS doctor and a gynecologist would be present in the dispensary round the clock.
The residents of the area have also lauded the decision of the organization to establish a dispensary in their area. “It is a great help with our people. Earlier, we had to take our patients to Lakki Marwat and some of them would breathe their lost in the way to hospital,” said a resident.
Another local said: “The people of this area are financially very weak. They would go to the Lakki district for the treatment of even minor diseases. Now they will be treated in their own area. We are very thankful to ar-Rahma Welfare Organization.”
