PESHAWAR, 2 November:  World Health Organisation on Thursday in its report confirmed presence of dengue larva in 6000 houses in Peshawar.

The report said survey was conducted in 95000 houses of fourteen localities of the provincial capital. The localities include Sufaid Dheri, Upper Tehkal, Pushtakhara, Nauthia, Sarbund and Bahadar Kallay.

The report said that in a large number of houses were found to have dengue larve in Tehkal. The outbreak has claimed lives of 66 persons in KP.
