PESHAWAR, 19 November: The Chief Conservator Wildlife Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar has lifted ban on that shooting of See-See partridge, Black partridge, Grey partridge and Chakur partridge in the province with effect from Sunday 15thNovember, 2015 till Sunday 7th February, 2016.
According to a press release issued here on Thursday, the hunting of partridges will be allowed in all areas of the province except the game reserves of Bagh in Totalai of District Buner, Rakh Sardaran of District Haripur, Darmalak,Toi Banda, Choda, Chukhto of District Kohat and Shinawari of District Hangu.
It said, hunting shall not be allowed in protected areas except game reserves, private game reserves and community game reserves. Hunting shall be permissible only on Sundays and gazetted holidays.
The following fee will be charged for various licenses/special permits during 2015-16 shooting season until revised otherwise.
Small game shooting license Rs. 2000/- per annum, special permit for shooting in a game reserve Rs. 2000/- per day and possession license for dog Rs. 250/- per annum.
