PESHAWAR: Former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak on Monday said he will accept whatever decision Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan takes regarding appointment of chief minister of the province he would accept it.

“PTI Chairman Imran’s word will be final. However, so far no decision has been taken in this regard,” he said while talking to media in Peshawar.

Khattak said he had no demand from the party chief, neither there was any grouping in the party.

Imran had announced to name chief minister of KP by Tuesday. He said that he has decided about chief minister of KP that he would announce in the next 48 hours. Whatever I have decided in this regard is in the best interest of people, he added.

Taking notice of media reports regarding lobbying for CMship, PTI chief had asked the KP MPAs that nobody should try to lobby for anyone as he would not be blackmailed for the chief minister’s name.
