PESHAWAR, 27 May: A division bench of the Peshawar High Court (PHC) has dismissed as non-maintainable a writ petition, challenging the results of by-poll on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly constituency, PK-95.

The petition filed by a group of non-governmental organizations argued that women voters of PK-95, Lower Dir, were forcibly restrained from exercising their right to vote in by-election held on May 7.

Hearing the case, the PHC declared that since women voters of the constituency concerned have not filed the petition, the case appears to be non-maintainable.
