MARDAN, 25 May: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak has said that the provincial government will not allow construction of Gwadar-Kashgar Economic Corridor if KP was excluded from the benefits of the mega project.

Addressing a ceremony in Mardan yesterday, the chief minister said the rights of KP had been usurped. He said injustice was mated out to the province over the issue of electricity in the past.

Mr Khattak warned of resistance if the Centre continued injustices with KP. He said the provincial government has taken action against 5,000 officials and teachers over absenteeism.
