PESHAWAR: Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah has again moved into top-10 of the latest International Cricket Council (ICC) Test Rankings after his sensational bowling in the on-going series against New Zealand.
Yasir Shah took 14 wickets in the second match against New Zealand in Dubai and now he is on the 10th spot in the rankings. South African pacer Rabada is occupying the top spot followed by England’s Jimmy Anderson and Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas.
However, there are no Pakistani batsmen in the top-10 rankings for batsmen. Azhar Ali is currently placed on 12th, while Haris Sohail is on 38th and Babar Azam on 39th. Indian captain Virat Kohli is holding first spot followed by Australia’s Steven Smith and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson.
In team rankings, England have jumped to second position after clean-sweep against Sri Lanka. India are on the top, South Africa are third, New Zealand are fourth, Australia are fifth and Pakistan are sixth on the Test rankings.
