PESHAWAR: The youth of FATA have decided to call an all parties conference on reforms in the tribal areas.
In this regard, the FATA Youth Jirga held a meeting in Islamabad on Saturday which was chaired by senior journalist Saleem Safi. Representatives of different FATA organisations attended the meeting.
The Jamaat-e-Islami Youth Wing provincial president Shah Jehan told TNN that the meeting decided to accelerate efforts for bringing reforms in FATA.
Participants of the meeting decided to invite leaders of all the parties supporting the reforms process to a Jirga to decide future course of action. He said elders at the Jirga will decide the future strategy to pressurise the government to implement reforms in FATA without further delay.
